Les Paul Replica

Before being a luthier and guitarist Les Paul (whose birth name was Lester William Polfuss) was an inventor.
Already at the age of thirteen he built the support for the harmonica that it is still being used nowadays.
In the Fourties, thanks to the financial support of the singer and actor Bing Crosby, Les Paul invented the first eight track recorder, which became the standard recording device.
His most famous product has his own name, the electric guitar solid body that Gibson introduced in 1952 and to which project Les Paul contributed.

My Les Paul replica is based upon the original of 1958 which was produced until 1960 (during the years form, structure, woods and finishing of the guitar were modified) and which I consider the best version Gibson ever built for this model.
I made this choice after a research which lasted over a year and which based on the study and testing of the different original models produced by Gibson from the Fifties on. The music shop “Essemusic Store” was very helpful, as they let me use their private collection of Les Paul guitars.
I build my replica respecting all the characteristics of the guitar Les Paul of 1958. Mahogany for the body, maple for the top, fretboard, pick ups (handmade PAF replica) et cetera.
The player can customise the instrument according to his/her taste and needs. We plan together the best solution to realise your perfect instrument. You can have your custom-made Les Paul 58′ with the best Les Paul sound! Contact me for any information.
